April 12th, 2011: SAP Helps Small and Midsize Businesses Run E-Commerce in the Cloud

SAP AG (NYSE: SAP) today marks a further milestone in its product road map for on-demand applications that quickly and easily add on to customers’ on-premise software installations. SAP partners ePages GmbH and HONICO eBusiness GmbH are launching a cloud-based e-commerce solution for small and midsize enterprises (SMEs) running the SAP® Business All-in-One solution.

The solution sets up an SME with an e-commerce site that is hosted in the cloud, with Web orders processed alongside traditional sales channels in the SAP back end. The on-demand webshop is developed by ePages GmbH, one of the world’s foremost providers of e-commerce cloud service platforms. Integration of the preconfigured online shop with SAP Business All-in-One is enabled by HONICO eBusiness GmbH, a specialist for SAP system management products.

April 7th, 2011: SAP Equips Caterpillar Dealer Network to Run Better

SAP AG (NYSE: SAP) today underscores its commitment to helping businesses and business networks run better with the formation of the center of excellence for Caterpillar’s heavy equipment dealer community.

The center comprises a network of experts from SAP, working closely with FDC Solutions, the leading IT consulting and solution provider to the Caterpillar dealer community. In cooperation with FDC, SAP is creating a standard implementation template specific for Caterpillar dealers to run business processes based on SAP industry best practices. Backed by the center of excellence for governance and quality control, the Caterpillar-specific template will use SAP® software to simplify and accelerate implementation projects while helping ensure long-term process efficiency and stability for dealers. SAP and FDC will preview the implementation template at the North America Dealer Information Technology Association (NADITA) conference being held in Las Vegas, April 18 – 21, 2011.

March 18, 2011: SAP Recommends to Increase Dividend by 20% to €0.60 per Share

The Executive Board and the Supervisory Board of SAP AG (NYSE: SAP) recommend that shareholders approve a dividend of €0.60 per share at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders. Compared to last year’s dividend of €0.50 per share, this would represent an increase of 20%. If shareholders approve the recommendation and based on the outstanding shares at December 31, 2010, the total amount distributed in dividends for fiscal year 2010 would be approximately €713 million (2009: €594 million), representing a pay-out ratio of 39% (2009: 34%).

The Annual General Meeting of Shareholders is scheduled for May 25, 2011 in Mannheim, Germany. The payment of the dividend is scheduled on or after May 26, 2011.

March 16, 2011: Verizon, SAP Team Up on Cloud Enterprise Application Delivery

Verizon (NYSE, NASDAQ:VZ) and SAP America, a subsidiary of SAP AG (NYSE: SAP), announced on Wednesday (March 16) that they will jointly deliver the SAP® Customer Relationship Management (SAP CRM) rapid-deployment solution to enterprise workers through Verizon's flagship cloud offering, Computing as a Service. Workers will now be able to access SAP CRM from their desktops or their mobile devices.
